Earlier this spring, KCIC‘s Megan Burns spoke as part of the opening panel at the Cutting-Edge Issues in Asbestos Litigation Conference, hosted by Perrin Conferences in Beverly Hills, Calif. Soon after, KCIC released our 2022 Asbestos Litigation Year in Review. Most recently, on May 3, KCIC partnered with Perrin Conferences to host a webinar about the report findings and analysis.

Now, KCIC is getting some attention from media that cover civil litigation. These two outlets focused on how Illinois is an epicenter for asbestos litigation:

KCIC report: Madison, St. Clair Counties see
most asbestos filings for 2022; Cook County ranked #7

“Madison and St. Clair Counties again saw the most asbestos case filings for 2022, according to an annual report by Washington D.C.-based technology and management consulting firm KCIC.

The report was released on April 5 and includes filing data from roughly 90 percent of all asbestos lawsuits received by KCIC through Jan. 31, 2023, nationwide.”  READ MORE
